This is the make I have used for some time. It needs a little care to make sure it dries before the stretched watercolour paper, else it can come off in places. When doubled up the stregth it proves (with extra width) makes it very effective.

I thought this tape had vanished as last time I wanted some (for sealing the back of a picture frame) I could only get self adhesive which was utterly useless as it dried out and peeled off after a couple of years.

This product must have been subjected to some water, as a little way in, and it was stuck together for most of the real.

It was exactly what I wanted to buy, but sorry I purchased it now. as I had to throw most of it away.

I used it to 'stretch' my watercolour paper but I find that it's not as effective to keep the paper down on equal when used in a warm room. Any accidental water spillage on the tape roll will make it stick together but quick wipe won't cause too much of a problem when unravelling it for use when dried. Other than that it's simple to use, the 'non-stick' side doesn't feel too rough and can easily stored somewhere, preferably a dry area.

Used by my wife to enable paper stretching for her watercolour painting. Perfectly adequate for the job.

Still the best tape for lots and lots of jobs. Learn how to make functional use of it and it will always perform; better than many new fangled methods.

Basic tape to use for watercolour. The trick is not to over wet it.
